Brothers and Sisters,

It is with great sadness that I inform you of the death of Brother Mark Pytlewicz of Elk Grove Village Professional Firefighters Local 2340. Brother Pytlewicz passed away unexpectedly on October 1st, 2024. Brother Pytlewicz was 54 years old. He is survived by his wife Theresa, and three sons, Jeremy, Daniel, and Alexander.

Although this NOT an activation, Elk Grove Village’s Local and Brother Pytlewicz’s family would like to have Honor Guard members participate at his services.

His services are as follows:

Visitation: Tuesday, October 8th, 2024, from 1400hrs to 2000hrs, at Grove Memorial Chapel- 1199 S. Arlington Heights Rd., Elk Grove Village, IL 60007. There will be a uniformed personnel walk-through at 1900hrs. Honor Guard members should arrive no later than 1830hrs.

Burial Mass: Wednesday, October 9th, 2024, at 1100hrs, at St. Raymond Catholic Church- 301 S. I Oka St., Mt. Prospect, IL 60056.

Please do what you can to attend and honor Brother Pytlewicz, his family, and Local 2340.
